Get rid of the senate

We should get rid of the senate. And have a unicameral legislature that has representatives that don't come from districts smaller than a state.

The senate is stupid and we don't need it. Why should we have BOTH the senate and the house? Senators represent wildly differently sized constituencies so I would rather get rid of them. Of course, I also want to get rid of the electoral college and get rid of congressional districts within states.

i mean, the idea of the senate was to represent wildly differently sized constituencies, and balance out the representation of large states against small states, so rhode island would have a voice. this makes sense, i think, as long as you feel that states are a unit worth representing.
