I assume that some of you have - and I have to apologize to anyone that has felt ignored or slighted.
I've had a lot of difficult things happen recently, car accident, concussion, hardships at work and at home, high levels of stress, and uncertainty.
My phone had in this time, even moreso than it has before, become such a terrible burden to me. Not because of the friendly calls, or the welcome conversations. There are however certain individuals that will only contact me if they feel it's my responsibility to bail them out of the new hole they've placed themselves in, or even worse - call me like a stalker with upto (no lie here folks) 20 times aday.
I'm not saying that I will not answer my phone all the time, but I have noticed it is an electronic leash more than a convenience to me now. As such, I put it on silent a lot, or I leave it in the other room. I'm sorry if I have hurt anyone's feelings - but it's really gotten ridiculous how often it rings. Email and Livejournal are the best ways to reach me, as I check them every day.
