I got food poisoning form some Chinese food I had on Friday and spent 8 hours in the bathroom dealing with that until the sun came up Saturday. Alison almost had to take me to the emergency room, but I stopped right as we were about to go and passed out. I am better now, but my throat is gravelly from all the spewing. So I sound worse than I am

Man, that sucks that you got food poisoning, but I'm glad that you're feeling better now. Out of professional curiosity, what did you have from the restaurant?

Also, how much snow's left on the other side of the river? We started with about 10 inches here in Paramus and are probably down to about 5 at this point.

I had sweet & sour chicken. That was marinaded in salmonella. And wait, you're in Paramus?!?

Yeah, salmonella's a fickle creature that can be a bitch.

Yep, I'm based out of Paramus' Crown Plaza hotel for the next few weeks as we build our restaurant. They've got me bouncing some to Secaucus, Pinebrook, and tomorrow or the next day to Poughkeepsie. If the four of you feel like venturing this way some night dinner's on me.

Where will the restaurant be permanently and will you be here for the long term or just during the building stages?

The restaurant's actually being built onto the side of the hotel, on From Rd right behind Paramus Park Mall.

I'll be here for at least another two weeks or so, depending on how long they need me to help with the hiring.
