Since the year's practically over, and I doubt this list will get any longer by Monday, here it is. It's significantly shorter than
last year's 52-book list. It is nice to see that I lived up to the goal I set this time last year, to read when I felt like it, and not get obsessed. As you can see by this list, I was anything but obsessive about reading in 2006.
1. Robert Jordan - Lord of Chaos
2. Robert Jordan - A Crown of Swords
3. Robert Jordan - A Path of Daggers
4. Robert Jordan - Winter's Heart
5. Robert Jordan - The Crossroads of Twilight
6. Anne Rice - Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt
Six! That's a book every two months! What a change from a book a week. I won't even set a goal for next year. No quota to reach or approach I'd like to take to reading. Just reading for reading's sake when I feel like it.
