2005 Booklist

I did it. I have just completed my fifty-second book of the year. I was so sure when I set the goal at the beginning of the year that I could do it with a ton of time to spare, but it's much harder to read an average of a book a week than I ever imagined. it's not very hard to read something and remember it. That's how I have amassed such a vast supply of useless trivia. C'mon, test me.

i can't believe you seriously kept track of all the pages in each book. did you count them as you went, or did you just sit down and look at each freakin book and count all the pages? honey you really must be bored without me...

I am bored without you, hon, but I have a database on my computer of every book I own, that includes page count, so I just copied that into an excel file and used amazon to fill in the gaps for books I got at the library. Then I had the worksheet total it all up and do the averages and everything. Have I adequately reminded you what a big dork I am, and thus why you are so madly in love with me?
