Here's a fact: when I do 100 or more pushups every day (not in a sitting, mind you, but spread thinly through the waking hours in simple sets of 10 to 25), I feel, perform, think, and look better.
An easy minute at a time, a few times a day. Profound difference.
So you'd think I'd do it every day without fail, right?
It's like making my bed, reading Scripture, spending a few minutes to prayerfully meditate. All simple rituals that make everything in my life better, and all tend to fall by the wayside.
Y'know what I do make time for, though? All kinds of destructive nonsense that does nothing for my body, mind, or soul, and if anything, does them harm.
We're an odd, self-derailing bunch, I tell you what.
But yeah. Back to doing 100+ pushups a day. Man, what a difference.
