I know that this is seven months away, but a lot of people need to make plans that far out.
Once again I plan to do a fighting clinic in Las Vegas, NV. I have done this a couple of times and it has been pretty well attened and well received. And again, at Estrella I was asked to do this again. I wasn't able to do the Vegas session this past October because I was King and had a full schedule at that time. So, I am very excited to be getting back on schedule.
So...The weekend of October 23-24 at Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas. This is where the Barony of Starkhafn holds their fighters practice.
You should plan for two days of fighting. Saturday we will begin at 10:00 am with approx. 2 hrs of lecture. This is the same lecture I do everywhere I go. For those of you who have heard my lecture before, you know that I expect that get some information that you missed the last time you heard this.
After the Saturday lecture, we will do a series of evaluation fights. In past years we have also had some breakout training done by a variety of fighters. We will have at least one(probably many) video cameras available. I am hoping to find a convenient location to do some video review later that evening.
Sunday is the regular Starkhafn fighter practice. They usually have their end of month tourney on this weekend. I will be at practice Sunday for more training.
We own a time share at Tahiti Village as does my squire and his lady. That is where we will be staying. We will have extra room for people to stay with us. And we can reserve extra rooms as needed. I don't have the curent room rates, but it will be cheaper than anything else you're likely to get in Las Vegas. This will be first come first served. Let me know if you're interested.
This fighting clinic has typically been attended by some excellent fighters from all around the Western Kingdoms. You will find a great variety of styles, skill levels and some high quality trainers. Above all else, you will find a weekend dedicated strictly to becoming a better fighter. And fighters who really want to learn and teach fighting.
All are welcome.
