Gratch Want Kill....

It seems everyone is getting pretty psyched about school starting up.
Not me.

I've been reading a few of my friend's journals, and just talking with them online, and the most common answer for being stoked for school involves people.

Example: "I can't wait for school to start. There's so many people I haven't seen all summer!"
I'm not trying to be anti-anything here (but I'm going to be anti-social anyways), but the main reason I love summer and hate school: I don't have to see people.
People, in general, and especially during high school, are quite self-centred, and inconsiderate. Those are two things that really bother me.
Sure, I'll get to see some of my friends and a few others that I haven't seen all summer, but having to deal with all the "other" people kind of negates that, as well as having my parents monitoring my every move I make in class.

If I didn't have to go to school, I'd be perfectly fine with that. That's part of the reason I wasn't sad or upset in the least bit when I got suspended in eighth grade: No people but my grandma for two weeks (she's damn cool).
Everyone I truly care about I can hang out with out side of school grounds and hours.

I think Tommy Rogers (vocals of Between The Buried And Me) has a very valid point in disliking the human race. Although I agree with him, this is not my sole reason for being anti-social.
This clip is from their website. He is explaining one of his song's lyrics.
"['What We Have Become'] basically is just me saying how displeased I am with the human species. We ruin everything around us, and we are the most unintelligent animals alive. Yes, I do fall into the category of the human animal, and I too think of myself as a disease. We’re all hypocrites and we all destroy."
