Ganymede is out in the woods. This, of course, is nothing new, nor is his position beneath a tree, knees drawn up to his chest and looking up at the sky from between the leaves. Someone who knows him well, however, might notice he seems quieter than is his custom.

Richard needs air, needs out, if for only an hour. When he comes across Ganymede, he initially smiles, but it fades a bit. "Ganymede - are you alright?"

"Ay, sir," he says, getting quickly to his feet.

[jarndyceheir]

He smiles a little. "I've complained to you enough, since becoming friends. If you weren't."

[dukes_daughter]

"I would tell all my troubles, an I could, sir, but..."

[jarndyceheir]

"But it's not only yours to tell?" he asks quietly.

[dukes_daughter]

"Nay, 'tis all mine, but-- I know not how to tell it."

[jarndyceheir]

He looks concerned. "Oh?"

[dukes_daughter]

"But be not troubled, sir!" he says quickly. "You need not be."

[jarndyceheir]

"I am worried only for your sake."

[dukes_daughter]

He smiles. "'tis a strange reverse, sir, and I know not what to make of't."

[jarndyceheir]

He laughs, softly. "Yes, it is, isn't it?"

[dukes_daughter]

"What would I do comfort you? I cannot think how to set mine own mind to rest."

[jarndyceheir]

"Well, you'd tell me it would all come right. And ask me if I wished to speak of it." He considers.

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay me! And you find this of comfort?"

[jarndyceheir]

"Some, yes. I could fetch you a drink, if you wished."

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay, very well, if but for the walk."
