Immersion
Last week I played Calis for the first time since the ll36hr and I found, again, that he feels like a walking set of stats. Nab, Rey, Cassius, Felix and Raethen all have their personalities that I can get into but I just don't connect with the character. Everything was forced and difficult to play, I had to just ignore being in command because the character is meant to be a commando like character. I enjoyed the game but it's just hard to immerse yourself when you have a character like that. I get a similar problem with Liam from time to time but less at the event just gone. Maybe I could grow to like the character butbis it worth the effort? In a small party he's fairly useless and I dislike relying on my ability to fight to support the character in a smaller group. Meh, whine over
