At the moment I have both an abundance and a lack of. I've got three settings, in addition to previously run ones I'd like to run again, that would work for tabletop but no current inclination to write. In terms of table top there's

Spycraft system - 'Solid Edge' Information controlled battlefields where the team are a special ops unit who work to investigate private military companies in 2020

Spycraft system - 'Hunters' Supernatural modern day game where party hunt down things that go bump in the night

Fantasy setting written for 4th ed D&D (could be run as third ed) - Epic high fantasy with large battles, war and intrigue.

but the problem is that both settings aren't played by some people and the people who do play them are already tied up in other games so I find myself in an unhappy mid-ground.....I guess what it comes down to is this:
wa-wa-wa-wa- I want to run 4th ed or spycraft wa-wa-wa-wa- no-one wants to play 4th ed for a variety of vague reasons wa-wa-wa-wa.

Well that solved a lot of meandering round not saying what I wanted. I guess it boils down to me wanting to tell a story with the players but not having a chance currently, which is frustrating since I'm full of plot (along with being full of other stuff too) and have nothing to do with it than write it down and move on. The sad thing is I'll come back to it at some point and be un-enthused.

Le sigh. Ho hum, I try not to whine on LJ but at least I feel better.
