Shity Xmas... litterally!
Hi there! I absolutly need to tell you about my 2008 Christmas night. This year (like every other year), the party was in my house the 24th at night. We were having my in-laws, a total of 6 adults and 7 1/2 children. For once, everything was almost prepare in advance no stupid last minute rush.
The problem we had is 3 days before, Y got sick (a super case of gastroenteritis that she cought at work). We were just about to cancel everything but decided that she was quite ok the 24th so everything should be fine. So here goes the party. Lots of presents for the kid (and the first 2 tomes of the Twilight series for me). Y and I bought a wii for the kids... they really enjoyed this gift no doubt about that.
The 25th came pretty quick and my father-in-law and my mother-in-law came back at home to have diner with us. Right after the diner, my father-in-law started to feel sick (a lot actually) and 1 hour after, it was my mother-in-law's turn. So sick that it was not possible for them to go back home. They stayed at home until the 26th afternoon. A few phone call confirm that almost everyone that was present the 24th cought that damn thing (except my pregnant-just-about-to-explode sister-in-law, fortunatly and me of course... I'm almost as tough as Chuck Norris againt gastro XD )
So this is it, that was our 2008 Xmas experience... a shity one. Personnaly, I enjoyed the 2 books a got so much it's almost impossible to stop reading at night. I'm only 200 pages away of finishing tome 2. Once again, I'm always doing thing at the extreme... that's me.
