today, me and the guys were given the key to heaven. ..the keys have to be returned to the music services desk when we're done with our stay, but that's okay. heaven contains a slew of vintage synthesizers and a soundproofed booth for drums and vocals, in addition to many other awesome, awesome things. plans have already been made to hole up in there for days on end and potentially move a mini-fridge in if we take too much time finding the right way to capture a tambourine. does every fledgling musical outfit have all this oppurtunity tossed at them?
in addition to all of this excitement, a movie pitch was made at some point: vampire stoners who use blood in their bongs to filter the smoke! it's genius! i think that there are more pressing concerns to actively pursue, though.
