the ultimate OMG!!!1
okay, i got back from washington after seeing a lot of boring civil war
battlegrounds and memorials and taking an amzing drive across the
ridiculously pastoral and beautiful virginia byway, i'm back in the
swing of things at work, all my friends keep talking about harry
potter... but at this particular moment in time, this all feels rather
inconsequential.
TODAY IS INTIMIDATINGLY LARGE GUITAR AMP DAY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
i cannot express how happy i am to now have the means to create an inescapable, hopefully non-abrasive wall of noise to be enjoyed by someone that might not be myself. my fender evil twin is roughly three times the size of my computer monitor, sounds crystal clear and is something i've wanted for practically all of my adolesence. and now i have it. i realize that very few of you would take such interest in a monolith of musical equipment such as what i've just acquired, but let me say that its presence in my room makes me as happy as if i'd found a complete dinosaur skeleton buried in my backyard, and was then congratulated for that by that gorgeous chick from rilo kiley. dunno if i'd necessarily want to listen to her albums, but we'd have fossils to talk about. but this amp is on par with that delieriously fantastic chain of events. today is a really, really big day for me.
