hello all;
I am here again to release the inner happenings of my life in hopes I will feel like I had a real conversation with someone. hehe Okay, I will try not to be so cynical throughout my entry. But its gonna be a big sucker- I need to vent.
I had a super-fab time in Toronto, Ontario with my cousin. We hit all the hot spots a tourist would go to, such as the CN tower, Niagara Falls, and Casa Loma to name a few. It was great to do something interesting like that everyday. I was truly truly spoiled on my pleasant vacation. I hope I showed my cousin a good time taking her through the sites and sounds of the GTA. On her return to Italy, she may have regretted the amount of shopping malls we hit as her suitcase was busting at the seams much how I look after thanksgiving dinner.
As I was visiting I was fortunate enough to see a couple of my friends. It is a priviledge I took for granted while living in close quarters to my pals. Now that I live three hours away, my human encounters are few and far between. But thats okay, because soon things will change and reside in a much more positive light.
Blah- on to happier things;
I like the fact that every person I have ever had disagreements with friendship-wise has stayed my friend and eventually seen eye to eye with me. Minus a horrible suicidal ex, and an unfortunate loss of a very good friend- my track record has been pleasant. Thats nice really. I do think I'm a friendly person, I don't like to hurt people intentionally. Often, I am more of a giver than a taker. I try to give people knowledge or headsup on things if I have come across it before because I know how difficult it is for myself when there are little amounts of help in my time of need. Or I have gotten lots of people jobs, but that doesn't always guarantee them as a friend forever; no matter how well you get along.
So why is it I am babbling. Because it is what I do. I psycho-anaylize things best though; until I'm blue in the face.
I just found the best song. "To Sir, With Love". How wonderful.
Those schoolgirl days of telling tales and biting nails are gone
But in my mind I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume?
It isn't easy, but I'll try
This is a beautiful song. I feel like its a great song for my parents.
The time has come for closing books and long last looks must end
And as I leave I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right from wrong and weak from strong
That's a lot to learn, but what can I give you in return?
Its probably more of a song for a teacher, and a tribute to the appreciation a girl has for having being taught, blah, blah, and it is really nice. However, when I hear this song I think of my mom and dad. I am kinda realizing, I might just miss my parents more than I think I will while I'm away for a year. Hmmm.
LoL, this is like the worst entry ever. Oh well, ta ta for now.
