The best thing happened to me the other day:
My mom had a senior moment. I had just finished doing something for her like changing the laundry into the dryer, and then feeding the cats for her. So, after finishing these tasks, I went over to her and told her, just so she didn't think I had not done it. Anyways, after I told her she smiled really wide, nodded her head, and gave me the middle finger.
I was confused. Hadn't I just done her two favours, be them small, but nonetheless I did them WHILE I was in the middle of doing something else.
So I expressed my astonishment, and confusion. And she laughed. She had really meant to give me the thumbs up. But in her own moment of mixed brain waves, gave me the middle finger instead.
I laughed for a long time.
