Like if you woke up to find the other side of the bed empty, but when you pad out to the kitchen with sleep still in the corner of your eyes, there he is at the kitchen table, hands warming around a cup of coffee, and he looks up at you with that same soft sleepy smile and you know this one's forever.
Or when you roll over in bed and he is already awake next to you, and he gives you this same sleepy smile right before he says, softly, with sleep still roughing the edges of his voice, "Good Morn'n," and sweeps your hair behind your ear before leaning in to you.
Well, now that we've all successfully died...my work here is done.
