Hallo all! I have survived my birthday weekend, and seriously, it felt like death was trying to take me under. Long story short, I was up until 5am Saturday night/Sunday morning then the kitters woke me up around 9am and I just never went back to bed. I went for brunch with a friend (mint chocolate chip pancakes!), got pedicures with fabulous massage chairs (a best friend when you're hungover), then my parents treated for dinner at my favorite restaurant: Carnivale. My mom's friend was with us, which made it a bit awkward at times because we pretty much talked about their escapades in the City over the last two days and whenever I talked about my weekend or random stuff, everyone went extremely quiet (wtf family?). But she did tell the waitress it was my birthday and they brought me house-spun strawberry cotton candy!
As for gifts, my parents gave me a gift card to Bed, Bath, and Beyond because I really want to get all new bedding/covers/sheets/etc. Then she had a note in a card that she had pre-ordered Wings' Rock Show. A few weeks ago, the parents and I saw at a movie theater and she was surprised that A) I knew about 75% of the songs and was silently, jokingly singing along to them all, and B) that I enjoyed it as much as I did. I was really touched that she thought to do something special that meant something, that she had remembered.
Speaking of gifts! Thank you to the_rant_girl, wendy, fiercelnormal, jesseofthenorth, and aerynsun5 for the v-gifts, to big_heart_june for to super excellent Jensen|Dean picspam that needs so much attention I can't even get over how much fabulousness is in one place, and to the so many lovelies here who wrote me really fabulous things! You must all go read them now and give them love!
In This White House by dodger_sister | Danneel is just trying to prepare for her press conference, but apparently Jared has writer’s block and Jensen thinks the cure for that is his mouth on various parts of Jared’s body. | Um, it's Jensen/Jared/Danneel IN THE WEST WING(ish). How could it get better than that? for anyone leery of threesomes, it's mostly Jared/Jensen with a side of Jared/Danneel and mentions of all three together in the past. But hey, Danneel is still totally kick ass in here as the CJ Cregg role. YAY! THREESOME!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
