Just like me. I watched American Psycho today instead of working on my BA thesis, okay I did work on it, but that was mainly copy+paste from one of my previous papers (which I am allowed to do!).

Train!fic...someone else is using an e-reader which is soooo not romantic.

I'm sorry, but can you clarify your prompt? I'm having a hard time understanding if 'someone' means Jared or Jensen, or someone complete different on the train, and the connection with romance? My brain might be fried from the weekend!

I just translated something from German which you probably can't use in English. Romantic more in the sense of old-fashioned or nostalgic like Jack Sparrow is totally different from the pirates nowadays. Reading a book on an e-reader when you could have a worn paperback which has a bigger emotional value or something like that.

Someone else is using one where Jared and Jensen can see and maybe they discuss what the person reads (*coughs*porn*coughs*).

"Oh my God," Jared whispers excitedly. "You're never gonna belie-"

"No," Jensen says quickly, not daring to look up from his iPhone.

"But he-"

"I don't care."

"-Almost got himself killed."

Jensen knows he shouldn't, but he sighs and asks anyway. "Who?"

"Rodrigo!"

Jensen clears his throat and gives Jared a stern look. "We are on a quiet car," he whispers as softly as he can. It's possible that he's not even speaking and is just mouthing the words for how quiet he's trying to be.

It doesn't matter. Jared leans closer and goes on to explain, "He just dove into the water to save Eleanor's necklace. The one with the locket her father gave her with the picture of her mother before she died. But the undertow dragged him under and then there were sharks in the area and the other ship came back to attack."

"Of course it did," Jensen replies without emotion in his voice or on his face. He goes back to his New York Times app as Jared leans forward in the seat to look at the one in front of them. Jensen mumbles, "Stop reading over her
