It's well past midnight, Jared's giddy, and it's all very teenage rebellion to have climbed the fence at the closed pool in the middle of the night. It's also incredibly tempting when Jared yanks his shirt over his head, torso twisting beautifully in the moonlight, abdomen rolling perfectly as he laughs and undoes his belt the buttons on his jeans.

Jensen grins at him and quickly undresses, getting down to his boxer briefs. Jared's sugar high is addictive, making Jensen snort and giggle along with him. It's also based on far too big a slice of apple crumble and a double dose of a la mode back at the restaurant while he waited for Jensen to end his shift.

Though … Jensen also knows that Jared, period, is terribly addictive, because the next thought in Jensen's mind is to run and leap into the pool, and he does so with a grand splash.

He breaks the surface of the water, wiping down his face and scrubbing through his hair, smiling at Jared the whole time. He's treading water and calls out to Jared, but Jared just smirks back at him.

Then Jared tucks his thumbs into his underwear and drops them down to the pavement.

Jensen is staring at miles of tan skin, smooth even in the dark. "That is my favorite costume of all," he murmurs.

Jared grins and does a little dance in place before jogging back towards some picnic tables then running full speed ahead to jump and cannonball into the pool.

Jensen is still laughing at Jared’s ridiculous hip-shimmy when he pops up right in front of him.

"Hi," Jared murmurs, surprisingly quiet given the gallon of sugar he inhaled just an hour ago.

"Hi, yourself," Jensen murmurs back. He leans forward to kiss Jared, but just before their lips meet, Jared does some hand-clasping-thing that squirts water between them and right up Jensen's nose.

Jensen sputters for a moment then takes a deep breath. "Oh, it is on," he declares before launching himself at Jared and dragging him down under the surface with him.
