So, uh, work is still crazy, or getting crazier. I can't tell, that's how bad it is. I was at work for 10 hours today and only spent about 3 hours of that actually doing work, the rest was spent on conference calls, in meetings, making a visit to a potential site of our holiday party. Too many fucking baskets to carry.
I'm also trying my damnedest to finish copfic this week. I swear. I'm trying.
In the meantime, I'm battling Comcast for being the biggest motherfucking bag of dicks I've ever encountered. To summarize the last three weeks of horrendous customer service:
* they canceled a tech's visit because I was supposedly not here, except I was.
* DVR has stopped recording half the shit I set up
* last three weeks of Law & Order: SVU have been scrambled and won't play
* didn't tape SPN last week
* they canceled ANOTHER tech's visit yesterday because there was supposedly an outage in my area, yet they never called to let me know this
I bitched out a manager pretty good yesterday then insisted I wanted to cancel my service, but they said that department wasn't open *eyeroll* THEN THIS MORNING THEY CALLED TO SAY THE TECH WAS ON HIS WAY TO MY HOUSE. WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY.
Ahem.
ANYWAY. Point is, I plan on canceling Comcast at some point this week and then will have to wait for AT&T in another week or so. Haven't set up AT&T yet because of how busy I am :(
SO. I will likely only be checking the flist on my phone and barely commenting. And really, if you see me online, and it's not to post copfic, then you need to yell at me to get off (heh).
