There have been plenty of things Jared has learned of Jensen in the last three weeks. He likes his coffee on the far side of scolding. He refuses to sit too far up in the train cars and almost always goes for the first row in, closest to the door for an easy exit. He can’t stand to let an email stay untouched in his phone if he has at least two seconds to check it. And there’s a tiny speck of skin just behind his ear that when tongued … man, Jared, smirks to himself as they’re riding the escalator down to the main floor of the train station.
Once Jensen reaches solid ground, he takes off, sprinting like his life depended on it, and Jared follows with long, natural steps. Not keeping up, but he’s not entirely losing ground because he can still see Jensen bobbing in and out of people, and he knows that at the very least, Jensen will get them a seat on the train.
Which he does, and Jared slides in next to him with an easy smile while Jensen’s already flipping through his phone for emails.
Jared snatches it, much to Jensen’s horror, and holds it just out of reach with a high, far hand into the aisle. Jensen’s head tips and his face is fierce in warning. Jared smirks again, and when Jensen reaches further, he tsks. “Nah-uh-uh.”
“Gimme the phone,” Jensen mutters through clenched teeth.
Jared pockets it and sits back, crossing his arms loosely. His barely suppresses a laugh at the tight fold of Jensen’s arms across his chest and the loud sigh he releases. “Hey,” Jared mumbles as his foot twists around Jensen’s ankle.
Jensen shifts away, pulling his foot out. “Want my phone.”
“You can get back later,” he says gently, soothingly. “We’ll make a game of it. You’ll like it.” He grumbles again but doesn’t move when Jared again hooks their feet together and slaps Jensen’s thigh playfully. “Whatcha want for dinner?”
“My phone.”
He chuckles. “We should grill. Think we should get something at the liquor store?”
“How ‘bout a phone.”
Jared squeezes at Jensen’s thigh and then it slips just so. “Maybe some sausages.”
It’s a slow movement, but Jensen’s leg pushes into Jared’s, letting the hand slip further between his legs, and Jared’s finally able to truly appreciate sitting in the back row.

I love how this is all innocent teasing until Jared thinks of the BEST way to distract Jensen. Yay for back rows;)
