I am about halfway done with my senior Capstone paper which is due in about five hours. I still don't know what the hell I'm talking about so it's pretty slow-going. I have been up for nearly a day trying to hammer this shit out and now that it's Monday morning the construction people have made it a point to find the LOUDEST POSSIBLE work they can find to do across the street at the house they are building. I hope I get a chance to thank the rich bastards who are building that house for having it completed right BEFORE school is out (instead of, i dunno, this summer when it isn't going to be rented out anyway). It probably wouldn't bother me so much except i'm all geetered out on caffeine pills and I can't play music to cover it up because my damn roommate decided to sleep in until God-knows-when for the first time in my memory. Normally he's at school by now but he's asleep and my only working CD player is in the living room hooked up to the big stereo system. So I get to listen to a circular saw, some sort of power drill, and some kind of big pump with a big hose that is presumably sucking air or water out of something over there. I don't know what the hell that's all about except its attached to a big truck and it makes a lot of noise. These construction guys have consistently done their loudest projects first thing in the morning (which for them is within an hour of sunrise) for the entire three months they've been building this house. I am thankful that I don't live any closer than I do, I can't imagine what being next door to that must be like. They used to play classic rock at 7 in the morning, but thankfully somebody complained and they had to stop.
Okay im done bitching about that... gotta get back to my paper. days like this make me wish I lived outside of town. I feel sorry for people who have never lived outside of a city.
