(no subject)
I'm exhaaausted. I want to go back to Matt's house and nap for the rest of my life.
On a positive note, I got a new car on Saturday. It's quite exciting...a 2006 Ford Focus. It's super sporty which is cute. BUT, it doesn't have anti-lock brakes which I thought was a big deal, but my father and the car salesman talked me out of it. And I've almost crashed twice. UGH. Wicked scary. I'm definitely going to be buying some winter tires asap.
Turns out I know nothing about pop culture which makes me sad. Matt and I bought the pop culture edition of Trivial Pursuit and the beating I received was pathetic. My boyfriend beats me. By the end, I was practically throwing the pieces around. I definitely wasn't really talking to Matt. I hate losing. I get so cranky. I was so lame when I went bowling with Matt and Wizzo. I got like, a 56 or something ridiculous and I pushed Matt away or told him to shut up every time he tried to encourage me. I'm horrible. Gold star for him for putting up with me. Especially because I snore on top of that.
A conversation I had with my father when he was driving me and my sisters to the Ford dealership:
Me: Dad...the dealership's the other way. It's behind us.
Dad: *pause* Do we have to turn around?
Me: Isn't that what I just said?
Dad: It's like you're speaking in riddles!!!
Me: Yeah, it IS quite confusing! Can you break the code?!
He gets testy. I like to get him testy. But luckily, the moron genes weren't passed down...even though Matt would probably tell you differently. And that's only because he lies. Seriously, Matt. Stop lying.
What else...I'm driving without car insurance...I still haven't seen Rent...as of Wednesday, I'll have a Maine license and plates...Jimmy wanted me to take a shower with him because he wanted to see me naked...Matt and I went and looked at apartments right down the street from where I work and if we can talk Wizzo into it, I'll probably be moving there soon...my Christmas shopping is done and everything's wrapped...I'm coming home this weekend and I'd love to go out to lunch/dinner with people, so feel free to call...and that's about it.
