So is snow on valentine's day like rain during a parade?

Kick ass morning so far, now I'm looking to go out and do something. Hmm.

you know what's wonderful? zoeginger February 16 2004, 07:41:47 UTC
when you wake up to roses being delivered. now that is heart-warming. especially when there are no strings attached. you just know your dad loves you enough to send flowers 5000 miles. (or order them from that distance...)
here's hoping you get belated flowers with no strings attached.

I don't think it's gonna happen, although honestly roses would probably be a lost sentiment on me right now - money, though- now that would be appreciated. ;)

I did get a single red carnation from my ex though. It was very sweet of her.

ugh - money? how impersonal. and that's what i want. so back off! there's only enough for one of us, and i'm younger, therefore... wait, that's no argument. whatever.

and why do you need money? did i empty your bank account? uh-oh.

welll... I'd rather you got the money, that's true, since you need it more than I do. And I can accept money that's from the heart, it's not a problem -

So anybody out there reading this with some to spare, don't worry about it not being "personal" enough. My bud Amy-twig may not accept it, but I'm more than willing. So hand it over.

But how's about we both get some? ...Uhh, money, I mean?

Bank account definitely not emptied, but watching large numbers fly out of my bank account leaves me wanting to latch it closed ever tighter. Of course, I then do things like go out shopping for shoes and new clothes (today with Zmonsta) and going out for drinks etc.. I'm a regular fiscal enigma.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I wrote it!

Although from the looks of my bank account - my trip to scotland has been an enema, of sorts.. ;)

I'm waiting for those belated flowers, too... :) My mom did send a beanie baby and I got a single red carnation from Ian's ex, too. My Dad used to leave chocolate or a V-day trinket for myself and my sisters when I was living at home. Dad's are cool like that, aren't they? I heard about a dad that was told that women are in a better mood when they wake up to the smell of flowers, so he puts fresh flowers by his wife's bed every morning before she awakes and does the same for his daughters when they visit.
