Daph! It's so good to hear from you! I've missed you. :(

Sorry to hear that you've been forced to deal with that unwelcomed guest no one likes, but it sounds like you have a great attitude and are dealing with it as best you can. You certainly set a great example, one I'll feel free to emulate if I'm ever in that same position (so far, no, but you never know when it'll sneak up on you.)

I know what you mean about people behaving as if everything was once again "normal" and acting crazy. It's unnerving! I have a bunch of health issues and have been home the whole time this pandemic has raged. Fortunately, I live with family and all five of them have been great! Given that I'm a writer and spend a lot of time alone with my craft, it hasn't been too bad for me.

Of course, the antics of our so-called "president" are another thing entirely! He's making me crazy! I have to limit my exposure to his antics because it's not good for my health. I am hoping like crazy we can vote him out in a few months.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, although it's no surprise that you haven't been able to see her. Things are crazy everywhere and it's unfortunately necessary to keep her separated from people. That's probably hard for her to understand, though. :(

Take care and stay strong, hon. Some of us are still here and always available if you want to chat.

Hugs!

Eileen

Eileen!! I was hoping you'd hop on. So good to hear from you. It's good to hear that you are well and still with family. I had IV therapy last week, and my nurse, Brian, said you're not on steroids right now, why are you so chatty? Because the only people I've talked to live has been the grocery store workers! I don't mind being alone, but I didn't realize that it's nice to talk to someone live and in person rather than emailing or texting all the time -- or speaking on the phone.

Stay well, sweetie!
