I wanted to make this really happy post about how uber-jazzed I was that they finally got high speed DSL out here and I was gonna be able to spend more time online. But the sonsabitches left me a message to tell me "when the technician tested your line, he realized it can't handle high speed DSL".
I asked the salesgirl more than once if she was absolutely sure they offered it in my area. She doublechecked it. SBC is not my friend right now.
I hate dialup. When we move to Tyler (in a few years!) I'll make sure we find a house that is in an area where DSL is offered. Damn you sonsabitches. Damn you!
In other news, I spent $235 at the vets office Saturday. I'm spending another $120 tomorrow. I think it would have been cheaper to offer my first born child.
