You keep saying to others that you’re just doing this “for lulz.” Well, the KKK didn’t start out as a hate-driven group. They started out in a small town in Tennessee, pranking people in the middle of the night. You know, for fun. For laughs. “For lulz.” It took years for their innocent pranking to turn into the violence you were taught about in your history class. When the KKK changed from a prankster-type group to a blood-thirsty cult around 1860, they truly believed they could purge the world of blacks. The white community would surely come to its senses, and if they didn’t, then this group would take them out one by one. The KKK thought they were indestructible; they believed the blacks would fail. The KKK is still around today - but they are still the ones that failed. Their persistence is not a sign of their success, but of how pathetic they are. Blacks got their rights and equal protection and are still gaining ground today. And no matter how much the KKK spews pointless hate, blacks will continue to get the rights they deserve. It wasn’t the freed slaves that failed - it was the group that hated them. Because no matter how many they killed or tortured, society still built the rest of them up. And I’m pretty sure I don’t have to repeat what happened to the Jews or how the world eventually saw past THOSE lies.

It’s not just the KKK or Hitler. If you pick a minority that you hate (and honestly, emo isn’t a minority. It’s a style or a type of music, depending on who you ask. So once again, I don’t know why you’re so threatened.), and try to convince the rest of the world to hate them too, you will fail. People may, and probably will, listen at first. But eventually, as all of history can show you, it’s the hate-driven groups that fail. They’re still failing today, all over the world. Stronger people take them out. Justice finds them. Even while people live in oppression and slavery, the world is taking strides to fix the damages it caused itself. Stronger nations are stepping in to help.

I’m thankful that I can look at history and KNOW that you will fail. Because no matter what your opinion is on someone you believe to be weaker than you, the world will eventually see them differently. I know you think that what you’re doing is innocent fun, and I’m being dramatic. But since ALL of your posts have been dramatic, I think I can do the same.

The emo trend will pass, but you’ll still be left with your hatred and no one to turn it on. I guess you’ll turn to the Christians and Buddhists by then, right? After all, you have to hate SOMEONE. It’s not possible to try and expand your intelligence of others and their situations. So, continue. Hate. Believe you’re being noble while the rest of the world shakes its head. Not everyone hates like you do. Maybe that’s all you’re looking for, though. Someone else who shares in your crippling hatred of people, so that you don’t feel so alone. You think depression is a weakness; I think it’s a tool to become stronger. You think emo is a brand of person that needs to be destroyed. I think it’s a weird fad that even suits some people.

I think biased, blind hatred is a weakness. I think any hatred is a weakness. But I don’t think those people who do hate should die or kill themselves. I think they should learn from it and grow. There is nothing about hate that makes you stronger in any situation. If you hate those that hate you in return, then you have nothing against them that they don’t also have against you. Hate is not a tool for survival or a way to get to the top; it’s a weakness.

I understand if you feel threatened by this honest, logical attempt at discussion. Just type something like, “shut up emo” or “wow, that’s original /sarcasm” or even “won’t read, too long.” Or you could pick out random sentences and do that “translation” thing you guys are so fond of. Because, honestly, I expect nothing more. I felt the need to put this out there, but I don’t expect an intelligent reply. I expect overdone sarcasm and for you to pick and choose what your reply to. I expect for you to skip the message of this and apply your own agenda to it.
