(no subject)
Here's the run down,
I moved from New York to Aspen, Colorado, spent my 23 birthday here (training) and got a job the next day. My boyfriend Todd and I have been together for 8 months and we are living together. After this season we are going to Hawaii (probably in May when our lease is up) and from Hawaii we are thinking of going to South America (we're thinking Guatemala).
New Years was amazing. Todd, 5 of his friends and myself all drove to Carbondale to bathe in the hot spring nude. It was absolutely frigid that night but you couldn't feel a thing once your body heat soared as much as the springs did. Shit was HOT.

Then we attended a massive party in one of the biggest log cabins in Woody Creek, where Hunter S. Thompson lived.
Aspen men & woman are ridiculously wealthy despite the economy and they don furs that look as if 12 animals got into a fight to the death. Kinda gross but whatever. Surprisingly, despite their gaudiness most of them are incredibly nice and kind. Perhaps it's a front or superficiality on their behalf but it feels much better than being snubbed.
I am healthy and effervescent. I adore the mountains and the clean air. I haven't gone skiing yet but I will once I can muster up some cash. My nomadic self has come into it's own and I have a feeling I will be living the rest of my life like this.
