Hello.
It's been a year since my last post (in which I think I said I would update with photos of my last surgery?), so I figured I would pop in and say that I'm still alive and kicking, and that I have not incurred anymore broken limbs. This isn't a "Hi! I'm back!" post. So. I figured I'd update you all on my situation.
Since my last post, I have recovered successfully from both surgeries on my right leg. I stopped physical therapy right after that surgery. My ortho (Doctor Hotty) gave me a clean bill of health in June 2008.
I worked all summer. Went to Warped Tour, drove around the state a bit, did some fun things. Around the end of July my friend told me about a copy editor's position that had just opened at a new paper in my old college town, out near Buffalo, NY. I went on the interview and got the job on the spot. So I've been living on my own since the end of August and working at this media agency (working my ass off, dear God. 10+ hours a day). Some people I went to college with are still here and the people at work are super, so it makes for a good time. I still go home to see my family and about once a month, and I talk to supergrover24 eeeevery day (literally!) so that much hasn't changed. Oh and I got glasses, wtf. Too much computer time *sigh*
I still go to shows (saw Cobra Starship and TAI on their fall tours and I have plans to see FOB on this coming tour [somehow!], and I'm seeing Dave Matthews Band this summer), and I've been writing some original fiction in my spare time.
