well i have just recently gotten back from a 10 day vaccation, which had it's ups and downs. so if anyone is intrested or jsut bored u can know basically what my family and i did while we were away. first we took a plane to seatle and rented a car. we drove around the olympic peninsula visiting assorted beaches and national parks (none of which did we spend very long in). we stoped for a couple of hours and ate dinner at one of my dad's friends houses. there my brother and i entertained his almost 1 and 2 year old sons. the 2 yearold liked me so much that when i did have to leave he began to cry, which was kind of sad. after that we drove to oregon and continued driving through what could b concitered some of the most beautiful scenery in the USA (namly crater lake, which is the deepest lake in the USA, it is amazingly beautiful. it formed in the crater of a volcano, and it's water is the most spectacular sade of saphire blue). then we drove down into northern california, there we stoped in a small town in the vally of mt. shasta (this particular mountain is consitered one of the 7 holy mountains on earth). later we drove to a large lake where my brother and i rented jet skis and had alot of fun! but we soon had to leave and continue our journy through yosimity national park. while we were there we saw even more of the USA's most spectacular scenery. when we left the park we headed into death valley where we had some cool views of dust devils (miniature tornadoes made of dirt and dust in the desert). we turned and began on a road that would lead us very close to Nellis airforce bace, also known as area 51... dun dun dun... and past it, towards cin city - las vegas. when we arrived at our final destination we were hard pressed to find a hotel room, but we finally managed to in the Luxor hotel and casino. this particular hotel was located right on the las vegas strip and was within walking distance of many intresting hotels/casinos, and other such attractions. the second day in vegas we got tickets to a preformance by the blue man group which was a big highlight in our trip. the other days we were in vegas my brother and i explored the strip and found some realy intresting stuff, such as the harley davidson cafe (which makes realy realy good food), a large coca cola store with nothing but coca coal products in it, and a characature artist who my brother and i both got drawings of ourselfs from. one night we went to a show at the excalibur (a king aurthur themed hotel/casino) called the tournament of kings. at this show we saw people preform coreographed moves in what was somewhat like a medieval tournament, while the audience ate whole chickens and shouted loudly. on the second to last day my brother and i convinced our parents to take us to a more traditionally las vegas show, unfourtunantly most of them required the audience to b 18 or older, so we ended up going to viva las vegas (the longest running las vegas review). it was pretty good and then the last day came. by this time i really missed everyone and was glad to get on a plain back to houston.
well that is the jist of my vacation
if any one wants ppictures i'll email em' to u but they take up alot of memory so i wouldn't suggest em' if u r using yahoo or sumting of the sort
well that's it
