Wow an update!
First update of the year... in march.... *ahem*
Anyhow, since the last update I've actually chosen what to do for my dissertation/project thingy. (AKA my supervisor telling me what I'm going to do...)
It's a Sensitive Artificial Listener, or SAL. So far I've gotten it handling text input and output. Although for some reason it refuses to loop properly so I'm planning to make a GUI (Graphical User Interface) for it (aka a pretty window thingy) which should make it behave. (event programming ftw)
Next will be the speech synthesis (making the computer talk.) Hopefully it won't sound too much like Microsoft Sam. If you don't know what that is go to the control panel, click on "speech" and have some fun.
Anyhow, gaming wise I've finished story mode in Sonic Unleashed (those night levels define the word tedious), beaten the Battle Tycoon once (diamond) and pre ordered Black Knight. (and started bugging the guys at Game about platinum.)
