I don't hesitate. "I'd like to think that if a situation presented itself that I could be content with, I would be."
"I'm not so sure. You get far too attached to your ideals. To the people who are a part of them. So you'll never be able to truly accept things as they are."
"Bullshit." I take a drink. "That can't be true. We aren't doomed. Why does everything have to be so fucking nihilistic with you?"
