The original plan was to deal with this ourselves, but since this is hardly the time or the place for chest thumping and other displays of simple-minded egotism, I'm just going to reveal that my associates and I have a way into that thing floating above the city.

[In their hotel, Mikhail is watching this post with something between interest and trepidation.]

"...how many people are we planning to open the Bifrost for anyway?"

She pauses to think.

"We'll see how many people attempt to go."

"If there's too many, we won't be able to keep it open long enough to go up ourselves, Astrid."

[ringofnibelung]

She pauses, but it doesn't seem like this is something she failed to consider.

"...so what, are we just going to let this fight proceed without us?!"

She rubs her temples a bit.

"I went over the options. Whatever is waiting up there won't be foolish enough to engage groups at once. If Marias, Yuuki, and Team 5D's are going up there, they have the best chance. And if they fail.. we have the best chance at organizing a successful evacuation. Odin will show me the best path, and, well. People tend to find ways to agree with you."

[Mikhail lets out a long sigh and rubs the back of his head.]

"It sounds like you're just trying to diplomatically say people are scared of how I look."

"Oh come on, would it hurt you to take it as me complimenting the confident energy you exude?"

[He sighs.]

"...do you believe in them?"

"..I do."
