(no subject)
OMG I have cooked a store bought apple pie, rolls, sausage rolls, made colored deviled eggs, prepped the turkey already and made peanut butter fudge and regular fudge. Now, I am not a chocolate person. In fact, I hate chocolate but OMG that is like the best thing that has ever touched my mouth since I ate the fudge from S-n-J in B-vill WVA about a year ago. This is the first time I have ever made the stuff and it turned out perfect.
The peanut butter one is still cooling down and cannot be cut into bars yet. I doubt it will be all that wonderful to be honest. It was a recipe off the top of my head so who knows. I always thought fudge was hard to make, some complicated thing that took hours to complete. The whole process took about 10 minutes to make and about 4 hours to cool down. I think I will be making more of this stuff come special occassions.
PS. I still have to make a red velvet cake (My speciality) and a cheesecake (My second speciality). Yes, both from scratch completly. I don't have a blender and have to wait for Chuck to get back here and go to my moms and grab hers.
