Red Alert is, not to put too fine a point on it, sulking in his office. He has absolutely no desire to join in the madness of the
bonding party happening in Assembly Room #3, however there are far too many Decepticons running around for him to simply ignore said party.
Even Rodimus is participating in the madness! Has he no concept of security and safety and... Red buries his head in his arms, blocking out the sight of the monitors. It's a plot. It's all just a massive plot to drive the last of Red's sanity away and frighten it into never coming back. They really are all out to get him, he realizes with a small whimper.
He looks back up in time to see two Starscreams standing together along one wall, talking. How is it possible?! TWO! And rapidly growing more agitated, from the look of it. Red Alert cannot help but giggle to himself after a moment; Starscream even vexes himself! He watches suspiciously when one of the two Starscreams drags the other off, pausing only long enough to divest himself of the two small mechs that had been sitting on his shoulders.
Optics narrowed, Red tracks their progress out to a
rooftop outside, one with a particularly good view, and several security cameras and sensors watching it.
All of which blip out quite suddenly, even as Red is watching.
Oh no... No, no, no, no, no. Anything that Starscream doesn't want Red Alert watching must be important! He leans over his console and begins rapidly hacking away, trying to restore function to his security net as quickly as possible.
It takes a few minutes to get everything back, and the cameras and sensors start flickering back on, one by one in rapid succession, until Red has full coverage again.
Just in time to see the more modern Starscream he has most recently spoken to pull the other into his arms and hold him. Red blinks in surprise, watching as they two seem to simply hold each other in silence for a long while - Figures, only Starscream could silence himself! - until the embrace turns to gentle touches, to quiet nuzzling, kisses against dark metal -
Red Alert rises suddenly from his chair, backing away swiftly as mirror-image lips meet. His coolant fans are running hard, and he realizes quite abruptly that he's trembling.
This... That... It... No. It's too intimate. That isn't something for anyone else to see. Not even to spy on Starscream. Red trembles and shakes his head. He doesn't even bother shutting the monitors down as he circles his desk and heads for the door.
// Inferno? Meet me in our quarters. Now. //
His office is quite suddenly empty, the soft chime of the lock engaging echoing in a room lit only by the flickering images of security monitors.
