I set up Bryan's new camera by the window by the feeder. And waited.
The larger pictures are linked as thumbnails so you can click them to see the full-size if you wish:D
A nuthatch. He'd flit in and out like the chickadees.
Here is a chickadee flying in with a sparrow (I think?)female purple finch in the feeder.

Nuthatch and chickadee again.
Male cardinal in the background, nuthatch on the far left, chickadee hiding, and female cardinal in the feeder.

I think the female cardinal looks like a chicken here!
The male cardinal steps up to eat.

Here are a few goldfinches that came, too! I think they are immature, or maybe this is just their winter coat. Generally they are a very bright yellow.

The male purple finch also came to say hi.

The blue jay finally came. They were the most skittish, which surprised me, since they are bullies to other birds.

Here is one sitting in the tree. All puffed up!
The pair in the trees.

They are just so cute!
A squirrel came to sit and gorge himself. Grrr.
There was also a squirrel with white tipped ears:D
And there was this little red squirrel and a medium sized black squirrel. I haven't been able to get pictures of them yet!
And my current desktop:

The pictures are through the window, so not quite so clear. Someday, though! Someday... <3
