Red Alert had briefly considered tagging along with Kitten Prime and Company, if only to make sure Rodimus stayed safe and out of trouble, but thought better of it after contemplation. Right now, at a glance, who would even know that the small orange Terran cat is the Autobot Prime, unless someone draws undue attention to him

Odd, that. For the split second when Kaci had still been staring down at her lap, having not yet looked up, she could've sworn it wasn't Frostbite sitting in that chair on the opposite side of the table. There was that same sense of being in someone's office or the equivalent, reporting to someone who was in charge while Kaci herself was not, yes. But for that tiniest of split seconds...
The room wasn't technically space for an office, but it managed to feel sufficiently like one for the general impression to get across for now. It was spacious, high-ceilinged, quiet, and impeccably tidy. As it always was. As most if not all the rooms were these days, in fact. Since Jo had joined the team even Kevin had made some attempt to sort out the bomb disposal site that was his room aboard Sky One (their mobile base) for fear of what she would do to him if he didn't. Jo was good at instilling fear into people like that. Kaci could easily picture her as a senior-ranking officer in the armed forces; technically she was already one now that she was with the Team, and she fitted the role well. Others (such as Kevin) insisted that a drill sergeant was more accurate.
"I've been thinking about what I said at the last meeting," she began without preamble. Again, as usual. Jo wasn't one for beating around the bush. She liked to waste less time by getting straight to the point. "What we need to focus on is the here and the now, and what we have to do to fix this mess. We'll worry about all that other damn stuff later. It's not important enough to be as much of a priority right now." She paused to let the black Celica and her human partner digest what she'd just said. "We're running around like a flock of panicking, headless chickens -- and that's exactly what the enemy wanted us to end up doing. We can't risk playing right into their hands. As the next two in my command chain while Michael, Kitt, Kyle and Dante are MIA, I need you two to help me make sure nothing goes wrong until we can get them back. I know I can trust both of you on that."
Donna nodded in response to the underlying cue for an affirmation that she knew Jo had to have put there. Nearby, the black Celica's scanner bar lit up and swept once, and then twice in acknowledgement...
Kaci blinks, and finds herself back in Frostbite's interview room. The Firebird watches as something illegible passes across the Celica's face.
"Of course." Her optics remain on Frostbite. "What can I do to help?"

"It'd probably be a better idea to check out Mexico first," she comments. "It's closer than Russia and we could get there quicker, and it's an area both Blaze and I're familiar with. A lot of our work with the Foundation seemed to end up including a stopover somewhere south of the border at some point." She smiles, a little amused at the memory.
She nods again at Frostbite's mention of involving Ravyn in the 'talking to people and mingling' process. "That sounds like a good idea." It occurs to her that neither she nor Blaze wear any Cybertronian insignias. Probably just as well; it's one less thing to attract attention and increase the chance of anyone figuring out they're anything but ordinary cars, or that they're allied with the Tranformers.
She thinks on the issue of who else could be of help. "I probably don't know the people in Autobot City as well as you do... how many of them speak Russian? Blaze and I both have knowledge of how to use the language, but we can't do the mingling ourselves."
She thinks for a little longer, one arm folded and resting on the top of the table while the other taps a finger against her chin. After a few more moments she looks up and tilts her head at Frostbite in query.
"How many humans do we have besides Ravyn who could be persuaded to help us out, and not be recognized by the wrong people in the way that one of the Witwickys might be?"

She nods again. "Yes, I know..." And it was a sobering thing to know. She glances down and looks briefly reflective at that before continuing.
"Alright. I'd suggest talking to the other two as well as Michelle, just in case we can get any more out of them than her. Wasn't Fredrick one of the ones who was more forthcoming with information before?" She looks a little unsure; Frostbite had been the one to question him, not Kaci herself.
"Let me know if you need any help with any of that, either way."

Then her expression softens as some of the seriousness from the previous discussion falls away. She looks genuinely touched, and gives the Firebird a warm smile in return.
"Thank-you, Frosty."
It's all that needs to be said.
