how is it that the characters who barely speak at all in this movie are ten thousand times more compelling than Chuck and Raleigh put together like geez guys

The resentment for Raleigh in the name of Mako is THE DUMBEST because he's LITERALLY Mako's other half
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The movie strikes this insanely perfect balance where they obviously need and complete each other without that undermining how incredible they are as individuals. HOW CAN YOU NOT BE INTO THAT? LOOK AT IT. LOOK. AT. IT. Plus on top of that, nobody loves and respects Mako more than Raleigh, he is 100% hearts in his eyes and total awe over her ALL OF THE TIME but yeah sure what a waste of a protagonist.
SPEAKING OF TEEN WOLF AND PROTAGONISTS apparently last night was like this flashback episode about Teen Derek and how he was "a lot like Scott" before everyone he loved burned alive, ONLY HE WAS AFRAID HIS GIRLFRIEND WOULD BREAK UP WITH HIM IF SHE FOUND OUT HE WAS A WOLF, SO HE ASKED ENNIS TO TURN HER SO SHE'D STAY WITH HIM FOREVER, AND THEN THE BITE KILLED HER. LOL YEAH HE WAS A LOT LIKE SCOTT IN THAT HE WAS A TEENAGE BOY WHO LIVED IN BEACON HILLS, THE END.
