I WATCH ORPHAN BLACK!!! That's really all I have to say about it. No, there's more. The lead actress is v v v good, she plays something like 7 diff characters and each one is distinct and believable, A+ leading lady. The main character also has a pretty great relationship with her brother Felix, who is everyone's fave of course. Other than that, I don't know? The ~mystery~ was good in the beginning but I feel like it's dragging in the later episodes, I just want more stuff to happen!!! Her romantic interest vacillates between bland and boring, which is such a shame because if they had found a more compelling actor and/or built it better I'd be super into them!!! I guess what I'm saying is this show is super Canadian - lots of potential and ideas and build-up, but the execution isn't fully there. I'd still recommend it, what the hell else are you watching in the summer?

Can you get your xkit to wrap tags because I CAN'T.

I can't read tags even when they've been pasted into a reblog. I just can't do it! I look directly at them and try to read them and my eyes just skim right over them!

Iiiiiiiinteresting. AND GOOD TO KNOW. I will probably watch it this summer then! I've heard the lead actress is awesome, I feel like maybe the AV Club was talking about how great she is and that's why I finally added it to my Perchance List. IT'S SUMMER, I GOT A LOT ON MY PLATE namely just lying down while watching the same SVU episodes I've seen for the past 100 years.

Watch it and get back to me about the romantic interest and how WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL if only the actor weren't so damn bland, like a blackhole of charisma, a negative space of a person. The definition of too good-looking to be interesting - WE GET IT, YOUR FACE IS REALLY SYMMETRICAL, NOW CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING TO THIS STORY.

I completely second your orphan black feelings. I do really enjoy it though. The (main) characters are so great I forgive any plot holes. It's got way more good things than bad going for it imo.
