I was originally going to sit on this for a while longer, until the CONSTANT! DEVELOPMENTS! slowed, but frankly now I am just sick of this whole thing and want to put it behind me, so.

First it was terrible, then it was HILARIOUS AND EXCITING, and now with photogate I'm just sick and tired of it.

Haha, I was telling someone the other day that this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I dreamed about in elementary school when I kept a Harriet the Spy notebook and a fully stocked detective kit [I know it contained said notebook, and also a pair of Happy Meal binoculars?] in the hopes that I'd be able to uncover some mystery.

THERE IS NO PEPE. Wow...that is just...a lot. Out of curiosity...did she ever mention where she went to high school? Because from your description (proximity to DC...the sniper thing) I'm fairly sure she'd HAD to have gone to school somewhere in my home county.

Nope! It was on her Facebook, but she started locking things down after she denied knowing us, and somehow none of the 168 files sitting in my JessieSoze folder is a screencap of what the page said originally.

OH MY GOD NEVER ENOUGH THOROUGHLY RESEARCHED DEBUNKINGS OF INTERNET LIES!!! God, the amount of effort this all must have taken (AND STILL TAKES) her. It's so weirdly twisted and fascinating to me how people need to live out these elaborate fantasy lives on the internet: that's especially notable with the whole Orlando thing, making your sock a !!!college student in NYC!!! is such a high school sort of choice.

I DON'T QUITE GET IT THOUGH, there was another girl also named Jessie who fanforum Jessie pretended she looked like? And other Jessie was the one who actually was somehow involved with a Lexie and a Jeff?

HAHAHA WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!! I mean, my original assumption after realizing that the photos Jessie sent us pre-pseuicide were NOT of the girl on her Facebook today was that she had sent us photos of randoms - maybe of people she knew IRL, maybe just photos she'd found online.

But Brian, supposedly the same guy who was the source of the SHE'S DEAD news, has photos of all three people on his Facebook, and their names are Jess, Lexie, and Jeff, just like we were told. The photos were posted over the course of several years. The Jessie and Jeff pictured don't seem to have died at 19, so there's that, plus there's nothing explicit saying that the Jessie in the photos is Brian's sister, tagging is nonexistent, and I can't find profiles for any of them, or any connection between Brian's profile and another profile that isn't heavily locked down ( ... )
