2 more thoughts
I have to more thoughts for everyone....
1. I still can not get over hate crimes in this country especially on college campuses. WTF!!! I talked to my mom tonight we said that she talked to my brother who said that on Kalamazoo College's campus one of the Jewish professors walked into his office to find Nazi signs on his wall. Becuase that is mature. Come on people we can't just look beyond race, creed, sex, sexual orginiation and religion and like someone for who they are. I also heard from a friend that this is going on at Grand Vally also. I am not saying that this never happens at Albion becuase no college is perfect, but I am a little surprised by how much it is happening. And these people are what we refer to as a the educated in the world, which is even more distrubing.
2. I can't believe that people think that other people are there for thier own benefit. My mom has some of the craziest stories about what kids expect her and the other people in her office to do. My mom works her butt off every day and I can't believe that people demand some of the things they do. This whole thing with CPR and student teachers is CRAZY, her and Cindy offered them for free on a SATURDAY (which she does not work) and she had 40 kids show up. Now she is getting more people asking for them, come on people. If you can't make that day then you deserve having to find your own way to get it. I am not lucky enough to get my CPR training for free. I pay once a year to keep my up and I would expect that once these student teachers have a job they will have to also. I can't believe that people are sooooooooo worried about themselves and what they have to do that they forget that others have a family and a life outside of their work, so they do not always have time to do things that are not required of their job. I know that this kinda thing happens to me all the time at the Day Care and I know that I do a lot of work that I am not paid for. However, it makes me mad when this kinda thing happens to me and other people. It again reminds me that some people are all about themselves.
I know people will have comments about my last two statements, so I am turning off my comments for this entry becuase this is my journal and I can say what I want in it!!!!
