I am sick and tired of fellow fanfiction writers being under the misconception that kissing someone is the best way to shut them up. I mean, rude much? It's always the same thing-- character A rants, character B seizes the chance to have some lip-to-lip action and shock the other speechless. After which they go all, "I'm sorry, I thought it was a good way to shut you up." Well, as if. But each and every single time, character A is happy with that.
I mean, HELLO???
No, kissing someone isn't "the only way to shut someone up". Darn. Does anyone ever writes a fic about those poor, cliched people that have been misguided, used that as a silencing technique and got rejected? I'd like to see that.

Oh. By the way, I read Sophie Kinsella's novel, "Remember Me?" today. n___n Loved it-- she does wonderful light-hearted reading. The kind of book you read in a couple of hours and get a real kick out of it.
