The long-awaited beta post!
Hello, Dudley-Redeemers! Here's hoping that everyone is having a good time creating their stories and art and other media!
Earlier this week, bgreenwivy requested beta services for her story, and it reminded those of us who mod that we had promised to set up a post for folks to request or offer beta services. Remember: All writers must use the services of a competent beta, because songquake and wwmrsweasleydo don't have time to help 29 people with revision.
(*squees some more* twenty-nine! we have twenty-nine sign-ups!)
So here is a post in which folks can offer to be beta-readers/viewers for fanworks in the fest, and other folks (or perhaps the same folks!) can request services. Look through the already-posted comments before posting your own, just to see whether you can find a match among them, but otherwise, go to it!
If you cannot find a beta here, feel free to request help at hp_betas , hp_betas_wanted , or Perfect Imagination.
Remember, we do reserve the right to return fics for extra clean-up, so it's easier on everyone if you have your piece thoroughly checked before you send it in!
Also, do feel free to start conversations about trajectories and whatnot here, or about plausibility. I know that each of us has Dud taking a unique journey, but we can totally have fun as a community with this!
