These past few days have been nothing short of AWESOME. First and foremost I have decided that I really need to work on my relationship.... with GOD. So last night I sat down and had a LONG talk with Him about EVERYTHING. It was more powerful than talking to my bestest friend ever- but guess what? God is supposed to be my bestest friend so I am working my way up to that point. Anyways.... something really powerful happened. Mom has been complaining about financial stuff, including college. That was one of my conversation topics with God last night and guess what I got in the mail today? A scholarship. Yes. I am graduating in 4 days and I finally got a scholarship!!! Wow. Mom cried. I have been spending these last few days with the youth group from Southlake (Charlotte). They are so amazing and I wish I could keep them with me forever and ever. There are two guys in the group that I would absolutely love to marry. They don't breed guys like that in Haysi. Today I painted the interrior of Bartlick Presbyterian with the group and ended up with a white handprint on my back. Tonight VBS was AWESOME. So many kids went and they all had a blast. Adam- the youth leader of Southlake- told me I needed to be a Kindergarden teacher. Lol nah. One week with kids is enough. I painted a flower pot in crafts and it looks really ugly lol. Tomorrow I am getting my hair trimmed and colored, then I am going to VBS. I may spend the night at the Breaks with the group, I am not for sure.

- I am happy about my resolution to get back into my relationship with God.
- I realize that I am not happy with a guy right now because I want to see what's at college
- I want a CHRISTIAN guy
