You can't take that away from me
Went exploring the Sebago Lake region of southeastern Maine yesterday, partly to see, for myself, what the rural1 parts of the state has to offer, and partly to give our new wheels2 a proper road test.
As this sign illustrates, driving around this, the 23rd state of the Union, can be something of a world tour.

2 A Toyota Highlander (1, 2). It goes against my SUV opinions in the past, but, in line with the promise I made to myself, it's not taller than I am. Plus, after several spin-outs in the now-deceased Volvo last year, peace of mind is being put before my concern of conforming with the average American. What's more, at around 33 miles per gallon, it's very fuel-efficient.
