(no subject)
So yesterday I went to rent my prom tux (yes I know it's late, shut the fuck up), and my mom started having one of her empty nest fits going "My baby is growing up so fast" and so on, and happened to mention that my 18th birthday is tomorrow. So then we were playing with this cool little fan thing that lights up when you turn it on, which was 6 bucks. So the guy says he'll give it to us for 3. Then he goes "Oh shit, when's your birthday?" and I go "Tuesday..." and he goes "Oh, here let me just go put it in a bag for you." So randomly I just get that fan for free. Then there was this black girl sitting at the desk and after I had decided which tux to rent, she said "Alright, and we'll give you 40 dollars off because it's your birthday..." And then when we were buying stuff they couldn't put the tux socks on the same bill as the tux so we were leaving and my mom goes "oh yeah, we need the socks" and they just give them to us. I LOVE AFTER HOURS. That was possibilty the greatest shopping experience of my life.
So yeah I'm turning 18 tomorrow. Growing up is weird. I fully intend on watching porn while smoking a cigarette and signing my draft card and voting and ordering things from off TV. All at once. Should be rockin'.
Speaking of things that will be rockin', One Acts are this Wednesday and mine is absolutely hilarious, if I do say so myself (which I do).
This is the last week of high school for me, and oddly enough I don't feel as depressed as I thought I would. Then again, I'm not very excited for it to be over either. Whatevs.
This has been a pretty crappy May. It's been cold and greyish. Blech.
I didn't want to post about right after, but I saw Revenge of the Sith at 12:01 Thursday morning/Wednesday night and it was amazing. I wrote a review and I was going to post it but it was full of spoilers, so all I'll say is, if you like Star Wars, go see it. It's awesome.
It was a little while ago, but Junior Banquet was definitely the best school dance I've ever been to. I actually danced! Plus my date was/is amazing. Great, great times.
Yeah so I got up this early on HSA week not to update, but to work, so I should go do that. Even though I have absolutely no desire to do it. p34c3 d4wg5.
