So.. I have nothing to do for Halloween for the first time in years.
I know a couple of people in Nashville who are having parties, but since my slack ass couldn't be bothered to come up with a decent idea for a costume this year, I'd have to go as bacon again. And everyone in Nashville has already SEEN bacon. I do love the fact that I kept the bacon suit I made last year, because you never know when you might have the occasion to dress as delicious meat. Sadly, or maybe awesomely, the costume has been in the trunk of my car for the better part of the last year... So, you know, if I'm ever out someplace and feel the need.... I'm like a big meaty superhero, but with no powers.
Also, though, I really don't want to drive to Nashville for Halloween. I am off that whole weekend, Thursday through Sunday, so it is tempting. But gas is expensive, and there's the whole "who will we stay with" question, and figuring out how to fit everyone in is stressful.
Honest to god, the last time I had nothing to do on Halloween was in 04, and that was because I was splitting up with Matt and not up for party planning.
This year I'm just lazy and uninspired.
