Dante's sitting at his desk with a magazine draped over his face. Man, does his head hurt, and he's not in a fantastic mood.

Trish strides into the office and sees his sorry condition. Saying in a slightly LOUDER than usual voice, "You look terrible."

He pulled the magazine off of his face. "Nice to see you, too, babe."

Trish moved to her usual position, sitting on the desk and produced a coffee.

"Drink that."

[dudeinred]

He raised an eyebrow. "What're the odds that's poisoned?" he asked.

"I could get you sober the old fashioned way." She put down a bag and pulled out a pizza slice and some aspirin.

"You carry pizza around in your purse?"

[fillmydarksoul]

"Yes, and because I find myself lacking a purse, I also buy it and put in plastic bags too."

[dudeinred]

He rolled his eyes and reached for the coffee. "You know that crap's not gonna work," he said, gesturing at the aspirin.

Trish shrugged dramatically and crossed her legs, looking for any sign of the liquor so that she can dispose of it.

"Neither is getting drunk, you know that."

He shrugged, and didn't offer an explanation. He shouldn't have to explain himself to Trish, of all people.

Trish rolled her eyes and just sat back slightly to relax.

[dudeinred]

"So," he said. "What brings a nice girl like you over to a place like this?"

[fillmydarksoul]

"I heard there was a damsel in distress," She retorted, handing him the extra strength pain killer. "Besides, you should really talk to someone who doesn't want to put a bullet in you."

"And you don't?" He took the pills, even if he doubted they'd do him any good.

"I'll wait till your better to hurt you."

[dudeinred]

"Considerate."
