Fire and St. Trinian's

Jun 21, 2010 18:39

I just finished reading Fire last night. I bought that book pretty much as soon as it came out, but only got around to reading it now. Other life got in the way. :/ Anyway, I loved it. The royal family is amazing. The relationships are so complicated, I now want to make a chart of it for all the characters. For people who haven't read Graceling, they'll be in for a surprise about Leck.

This pretty much confirms Kristin Cashore as one of my favorite authors. Loved her first book, and was so engrossed in this one I stayed up until 5 am two nights in a row reading it.

Ridicule me for liking girly fantasy all you like.

We got St. Trinian's on Netflix the other day. My mother watched it first and thought it was silly, and beneath most of the very skilled actors in it. But I enjoyed it very much. Everyone clearly had a lot of fun making it, and just seeing that many well-known actors in one movie is a little mind-blowing (and very entertaining to watch).

Also, napkins, I keep seeing your name today. You're like, A BNF IN THE HETALIA FANDOM. ಠ_ಠ
